How to Apply the Decal on a Mug

  1. Clean the mug thoroughly.
    Make sure the mug is clean and dry. A small amount of rubbing alcohol works well to remove any grease or residue.
  2. Cut out the decal.
    Carefully cut out one of the larger decals using scissors. Be careful not to cut into any other decals nearby.
  3. Remove the transfer tape.
    The decals come with a transfer tape, similar to adhesive vinyl.

    • Flip the design over so it appears mirrored.
    • Using something sharp or pointed (such as a crafting air pen), gently lift one corner of the backing.
    • Once the corner is lifted, slowly pull the backing away at a flat 45‑degree angle until it is fully removed.
      ⚠️ Be careful—once the backing is removed, the UV‑printed side will be sticky and exposed.
  4. Position the mug.
    Place the mug in the position you want for applying the decal. You may use a crafting cradle if you have one.
    ✅ Make sure this positioning is done before removing the transfer tape.
  5. Apply the decal.
    Position the decal where you want it on the mug. Start applying from one side—usually the middle works best—then gently press outward to the left and right.
    Rub firmly with even pressure to ensure the decal adheres properly.

How to Apply the Decal on an Acrylic Keychain

  1. Remove protective films.
    Remove both protective films from the acrylic keychain. The keychain should be completely clear once done.
  2. Clean the keychain.
    Avoid touching the acrylic too much to prevent fingerprints or dust. If needed, clean it with a small amount of rubbing alcohol.
  3. Cut out the decal.
    Carefully cut out one of the smaller decals using scissors, making sure not to cut into another decal.
  4. Remove the transfer tape.
    • Flip the design so it appears mirrored.
    • Using a sharp or pointed tool, slowly lift one corner of the backing.
    • Pull the backing away at a flat 45‑degree angle until fully removed.
      ⚠️ The UV‑printed side will now be sticky and exposed—handle with care.
  5. Position the keychain.
    Place the keychain with the hole facing the top left.
  6. Apply the decal.
    Position the decal in the center of the keychain and align it evenly within the square.
    ❗ Do not place the decal over the hole where the split keyring goes.
    Start applying from the middle, then press outward to the sides. Rub firmly with even pressure to secure it.

Important Notes

  • Once the decal has stuck—even partially—it cannot be removed. Attempting to lift it will cause it to crack.
  • Apply the decal evenly to avoid air bubbles. These cannot be removed, as this is not a standard sticker.
  • Mug care: Hand wash only. Do not soak in water. This will increase the longevity of both the mug and the decal.
