Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our website. By continuing to browse and use this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which, together with our privacy policy, govern Sassy Design’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

Collection & Uncollected Orders

Customers selecting Collection at checkout are responsible for collecting their order once they have been notified that it is ready.

Collection Period

  • Orders should be collected within 30 calendar days of notification that the order is ready for collection.

  • SA Sublimation Blanks has limited storage space and cannot store completed orders indefinitely.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the contact details supplied with their order are correct and up to date.

Orders Not Collected Within 30 Days

Where an order remains uncollected after 30 days, SA Sublimation Blanks may send additional collection reminders using the email address, telephone number or WhatsApp number supplied with the order.

The customer may also arrange and pay for courier delivery if they are unable to collect the order.

Final Collection Notice

Orders that remain uncollected for an extended period may be issued with a Final Collection Notice.

The customer will be given 14 calendar days from the date of the Final Collection Notice to:

  • collect the order; or

  • contact us to arrange courier delivery at the customer’s cost.

Orders Uncollected for 90 Days or Longer

SA Sublimation Blanks cannot provide indefinite storage for completed orders.

Where an order has remained uncollected for 90 calendar days or longer, and the customer has failed to respond to collection reminders and/or a Final Collection Notice, SA Sublimation Blanks reserves the right, subject to applicable consumer law, to close the order and return standard, non-personalised and resaleable products to available stock.

The specific physical products originally allocated to the customer’s order will therefore no longer be reserved indefinitely.

Where applicable, any amount paid by the customer will be dealt with in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable South African law and will not simply be regarded as forfeited solely because the physical stock has been returned to inventory.

Custom, Personalised & Made-to-Order Products

Custom-made, personalised, printed, engraved, cut-to-size or specially manufactured products cannot normally be returned to general stock or resold.

Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to collect personalised or custom orders promptly.

Where such goods remain uncollected for an extended period, SA Sublimation Blanks will attempt to contact the customer and issue a Final Collection Notice before taking further reasonable action regarding the storage or disposal of the goods, subject to applicable South African law.

Storage

Our collection area is intended for temporary order collection only and is not a long-term storage facility.

SA Sublimation Blanks reserves the right to introduce reasonable storage or administration charges for future orders where appropriate, provided that any such charges are clearly disclosed to the customer before they become applicable.

Customer Responsibility

It remains the customer’s responsibility to:

  • monitor the contact details supplied with their order;

  • respond to collection notifications;

  • collect their order within a reasonable period; and

  • advise us if they are unable to collect and require alternative arrangements.

Failure to collect an order does not require SA Sublimation Blanks to reserve or physically store the original stock indefinitely.

Courier Insurance, Loss & Damage

Courier services are provided by independent third-party courier companies and are subject to the courier company’s own terms, conditions, exclusions and insurance policies.

Where a parcel is lost or damaged in transit and qualifies for a courier claim, the courier company’s prescribed claims procedure, investigation process and required documentation will apply. SA Sublimation Blanks will assist with submitting the claim where applicable; however, approval and settlement of any claim remains subject to the courier company’s terms and conditions.

Please note that courier insurance generally does not cover certain restricted or excluded goods, including but not limited to:

  • Fragile or breakable items
  • Liquids
  • Powders
  • Other goods specifically excluded under the courier company’s insurance policy

We take reasonable care when preparing orders for dispatch. Products are checked before leaving our premises and, where necessary, are securely packed and/or bubble-wrapped. Fragile parcels are clearly marked with Fragile stickers on the packaging and, where applicable, on the courier waybill.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, the parcel is in the possession and control of the courier company. SA Sublimation Blanks cannot control how parcels are handled while in transit and cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage that falls outside the courier company’s insurance cover or is excluded under its terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their order as soon as it is received and to notify us promptly of any visible damage, together with photographs of the parcel, packaging and damaged items, so that we can determine whether a courier claim can be lodged.

Definitions

  • Sassy Designs: Refers to the owner of the website, located at 39 Hobson Street, Albemarle Ext 2, Germiston, 1410. Company registration number: 2020/797464/07.
  • You: Refers to the user or viewer of our website.
