Sublimation Blanks : Gamer, Bar or Desk Mat Sublimation Print

R79.99

We specialise in creating customised sublimation prints for gammer, desk and Bar mats, measuring approximately 78 cm in length and 30 cm in width. The print area for our neoprene gamer, desk, or bar mats measures approximately 78.5 cm by 30.5 cm. Please avoid extending designs all the way to the edges, as there is a 0.5 mm offset to allow the print to extend over the mat to get a full press. If your design uses the full dimensions, it will be adjusted to fit within the printable area.

If your sublimation printer cannot handle this size, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Simply design your artwork using our Gang Creator, then receive and press it with ease.

For optimal results when pressing this larger mat, we recommend using our JIG. The jig helps securely hold the mat and sublimation print in place, allowing for smooth, section-by-section pressing.

Additionally, there’s no need to mirror your design, as our system is set up to automatically mirror it during printing. However, if you require a non-mirrored image, please specify “NO MIRROR” in your order.

Please note

  • that sublimation prints are printed on demand, so allow a turnaround time of 2 to 7 days for production.
  • the picture used is just an illustration you will submit your design via the Gang Sheet process

How to sublimate onto the neoprene gamer, bar or desk pad

  • Set your flat heat press to 200°C for 80 seconds at medium pressure.
  • Ensure the heat press is wider than the mat (minimum width: 30.5 cm).
  • Use a lint roller to remove unseen fluff from the neoprene mat.
  • Pre-press the neoprene mat in sections for 10–20 seconds to remove excess moisture. This prevents shrinking during pressing.
  • Place the neoprene mat face-up (white side) and secure the sublimation print onto the MDF jig with heat tape.
  • Cover the neoprene and design with silicone paper as you press in sections. Adjust the number of presses based on the size of your press.
  • Mark where the press ends and re-press the joins to avoid lines from pressure inconsistencies.
  • Once finished, remove the print carefully as it will still be hot.
  • Allow the mat to cool before admiring your masterpiece.

Additional Tips:

    • Time and temperature are guidelines; always test your heat press for accuracy.
    • If you notice bald spots, adjust the pressure for better results.
