How Does the Gang Sheet Designer Work?
If this is your first time using the Gang Sheet Designer, please read the instructions below and watch the video before starting. It may feel a little different at first, but once you have tried it, it is very easy to use.
- Select the size required for your mat.
Make sure you choose the correct size option before starting your design. - Click the pink “Create Design” button below the size you selected.
This will open the Gang Sheet Designer in a new browser tab called Antigro. -
Upload your artwork.
Click the blue Upload Files tab at the top left of the designer and upload your images. Please ensure:
- Files are high-resolution PNGs wherever possible.
- Artwork is no less than 300 DPI at the required print size.
- Unnecessary backgrounds have been removed before uploading.
- Your artwork is already prepared at the size you require.
The designer will warn you if your artwork resolution is too low:
- Orange warning: approximately 250–300 DPI
- Red warning: below 250 DPI
Remember: the quality of your finished print can only be as good as the artwork supplied.
-
Arrange your artwork within the canvas.
The designer will display the printable area for the size you selected.Keep all artwork inside the pink dashed “Create Within” lines. Artwork placed outside this area may be cut off or print beyond the usable area.
-
Use the design tools to arrange your artwork.
Once your images have been uploaded, you can:- Drag and drop images onto the canvas
- Move and resize your designs
- Delete unwanted images
- Flip or rotate artwork
- Bring images forward or send them backward
- Duplicate designs
- Use Auto-Fill and select how many copies you require
- Set the spacing between repeated designs
- Keep “Safe Zone” enabled when using Auto-Fill
The designer also includes a background-removal tool. Please use this carefully. Automated background removal does not always distinguish between a background and parts of the actual artwork, so important areas of your image may also be removed.
- Confirm your completed design.
Once you are happy with your layout:- Click the green “Confirm” button at the top right
- Select “Confirm My Designs”
- Enter your email address when requested
- Confirm your design again
- Wait for the automatic redirect, or click “Redirect Now”
- Complete your order.
You will be returned to our website/cart, where you can continue with the normal checkout process.
Want to Come Back to Your Design Later?
You can save your design and return to it later.
Either:
- Click “Save” next to the Confirm button, or
- Copy and save the designer link from your browser. The link contains your unique design/order ID.
You can also create an Antigro account, which is recommended if you regularly use the designer and would like easier access to your previous designs.
Important Artwork Information
- We do not resize or alter artwork submitted through the Gang Sheet Designer. Your artwork will be printed at the size and layout that you submit. We may carry out normal production colour checks/spot-colour requirements where applicable, but we do not redesign your artwork.
- You are responsible for checking the size, resolution and quality of your artwork before confirming your design. We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect sizing, low-resolution artwork, pixelation, blurry images, spelling errors or artwork positioned outside the safe/print area.
- Artwork must be supplied at no less than 300 DPI at the required final print size. Simply changing a low-resolution image to 300 DPI does not improve the original image quality.
- Please check your final layout carefully before clicking Confirm. What you submit through the designer is what we will use for printing.
- Designs will no longer be accepted via email. The Gang Sheet Designer is our designated tool for submitting print-ready artwork.

Artwork Setup – Please Read Before Uploading
To ensure your design prints correctly, please follow the artwork guidelines below when submitting your design through our Gang Sheet.
The finished mat measures approximately 78 cm × 30.8 cm. During heat pressing and finishing, a small amount of movement can occur. For this reason, artwork intended to print edge-to-edge must extend beyond the finished size of the mat, and important text or logos must be kept safely away from the edges.
- BLACK LINE – BLEED / OFFSET: 79.3 cm × 31.8 cm
If your design has a full-colour background, photograph, pattern or image that must print right to the edge of the mat, your artwork must extend all the way to this line. This extra area is the bleed and helps prevent unwanted white edges after pressing and finishing. - RED LINE – FINISHED MAT SIZE: 78 cm × 30.8 cm
This represents the approximate finished size of the mat. - GREEN LINE – TRIM / PRINT AREA: 77.8 cm × 30.3 cm
Keep important design elements away from this outer trimming area. Backgrounds and decorative elements may extend through it. - BLUE LINE – SAFE TEXT AREA: 76.8 cm × 29.3 cm
All important text, logos, names, contact details and other essential elements must remain inside this area. Anything positioned outside the blue safe area may sit too close to the edge or could potentially be affected during pressing or finishing.
Full Edge-to-Edge Designs
If you want your design to cover the entire mat with no white border, do not submit artwork at only 78 cm × 30.8 cm.
Your background or design must extend to the full 79.3 cm × 31.8 cm bleed size, while all important text and logos must remain inside the 76.8 cm × 29.3 cm safe area.
Easy rule to remember:
Backgrounds go all the way to the BLACK line. Important text and logos stay inside the BLUE line.
Artwork Quality Requirements
- Artwork must be supplied print-ready and at no less than 300 DPI at the final print size.
- For full edge-to-edge printing, artwork should be prepared at:
- 79.3 cm × 31.8 cm at a minimum of 300 DPI
- Low-resolution artwork may print blurry, pixelated or soft. This includes screenshots, small web images, images downloaded from social media or artwork that has been enlarged beyond its original resolution.
- Simply changing a low-resolution image to “300 DPI” does not improve the actual image quality. The original artwork must have sufficient resolution for the final print size.
Artwork Responsibility
- Please check your artwork carefully before submitting it.
- We print and press the artwork supplied to us. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the artwork is correctly sized, at least 300 DPI, extends into the bleed area where edge-to-edge printing is required, and that all important text and logos remain inside the safe area.
- Please also check spelling, contact details, layout and orientation before submitting your artwork.
- Artwork that does not meet these requirements may result in white edges, cropped elements, blurry printing or important text sitting too close to the edge.
Need Help With Your Design?
- Our standard Print & Press Service is for print-ready artwork.
- If your artwork requires resizing, layout changes or design assistance, an additional artwork/design service is available.
Production & Turnaround Time
This is an on-demand Print & Press Service. Your personalised product is produced specifically for you after your order and artwork have been submitted and confirmed.
Please allow approximately 5–14 working days for production, depending on the quantity ordered, current production workload and the complexity of the job.
- Smaller quantities may be completed closer to the 5 working day timeframe.
- Larger or bulk orders may require up to 14 working days.
- Production time only begins once your order has been paid and your print-ready artwork has been correctly submitted and confirmed.
- If artwork requires changes, resizing or design assistance, production may only begin once the final artwork has been approved.
- Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.
- Courier or delivery time is additional to the production turnaround time.
Because this is a custom, on-demand service, we recommend placing time-sensitive or bulk orders well in advance.
