Heating ceramic before pressing is a crucial step in the sublimation process, ensuring a more even transfer of the design.

It’s recommended to use a Nomex pad, known for its high temperature resistance and ability to provide better contact with the entire surface of the tile, especially on beveled edges or irregular surfaces.

If a Nomex pad isn’t available, white felt can be a substitute, although it may not offer the same level of precision.

The key is to allow the ceramic to reach the maximum temperature for optimal results. Remember to handle the materials with care, as they will become very hot during the process.

For sublimating ceramic, the pressing time and temperature are crucial for achieving a successful transfer.

Here are some general guidelines:
