What You’ll Need
- Double-walled plastic tumbler (ideally predrilled with a plug)
- Glitter or sequins (chunky glitter works best for movement)
- Liquid mix: Vegetable glycerin + distilled water (or clear glue + water)
- Syringe or funnel for filling
- UV resin or waterproof adhesive for sealing
- Optional: Vinyl decals, UV DTF wraps, epoxy for decorating
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prep Your Tumbler
If it’s not predrilled, carefully drill a small hole in the bottom outer wall. If your tumbler already has this feature, you’re good to go. - Add Glitter
Pour glitter directly into the cavity between the walls. Use a funnel or paper cone to avoid mess. - Mix & Fill Liquid
Combine glycerin and distilled water (about 70:30 ratio) for a slow-flowing effect.
Use a syringe to inject the liquid until it’s nearly full, leaving a tiny air gap to prevent pressure buildup. - Shake & Settle
Gently shake to release trapped air bubbles. Let it sit for a few hours to allow bubbles to rise. - Seal the Hole
Insert the plug and seal with UV resin or strong waterproof glue. Cure with a UV light if needed. - Decorate
Add vinyl, UV DTF wraps, or epoxy to personalize your tumbler. You can go seasonal, branded, or full sparkle.
