Sublimation Instructions
For best results, apply medium pressure to ensure even heat distribution and a crisp, vibrant transfer without damaging the fabric.
Before pressing, loosen or untie the drawstrings and move them completely away from the pressing area. The cords are synthetic and can flatten, mark, or melt if exposed to direct heat for too long.
Place a sheet of silicone paper inside the drawstring bag before pressing to help prevent ink bleed-through onto the opposite side. We also recommend placing silicone paper both underneath and on top of the bag to protect the fabric and your heat press during pressing.
Press at 180°C for 90 seconds.
Helpful Tips
• Ensure the bag surface is flat and wrinkle-free before pressing
• Untie or move the cords away from the heat platen before pressing
• Avoid pressing directly over seams, cords, or thick folds
• Due to the seams and construction of the bag, achieving a perfect full edge-to-edge press may not always be possible, as seams can create uneven pressure areas
• Partial prints are recommended for easier alignment and cleaner, more consistent results
• Use a lint roller beforehand to remove dust or fibres
• Secure your print in place with heat tape if needed
• Allow the bag to cool slightly before removing the transfer paper
Please note: Heat press settings may vary slightly depending on your equipment and paper/ink combination. Always perform a small test first if unsure.
