Pressing instructions :

PRESSING FROM THE BOTTOM

  1. Set the press to 170 degrees celsius for 360 seconds.
  2. Set to medium pressure (not to much to create a crack in the glass)
  3. DO NOT mirror your artwork.
  4. Place a Nomex pad or x4 layers of felt on the base of your press
  5. Place the print on top of the padding you have used with the picture facing up, place the glass tile on top of the print (the white part of the glass will face the print). So the print will be at the bottom when you press.
  6. Press the product and when the time is up, remove the print very carefully, because the white side (coating) of the product will be very soft while it is still hot and it might damage when not handled with care.

The above is recommended guidelines as all heat press vary.

Note When sublimating a glass clock, it’s essential to leave the glass in the heat press while it heats up. This prevents the risk of cracking caused by sudden exposure to high temperatures. Gradual heating ensures the glass adjusts safely to the required press temperature, allowing for a smooth and successful sublimation process.
