Sublimation Paper vs. 80gsm Bond Paper what is the difference?
Sublimation Paper
- Specially coated to hold sublimation ink until heat activates it
- Designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure during pressing
- Produces vibrant, crisp, and permanent transfers on polyester, ceramics, and other coated surfaces
- Prevents smudging or bleeding — ink stays in place until transferred
80gsm Bond Paper
- Uncoated and absorbs ink like regular printer paper
- Not built for high heat or ink release during sublimation
- Results in dull, faded, or blurry transfers
- Ink can bleed, smudge, or ghost under heat
