– Preheat the flat press to 180°C.
– Set the timer for 60 seconds with medium pressure.
– Conduct a test press to ensure the heat is distributed evenly.
– Cover the box with a sheet of copy paper or silicone paper to prevent burning.
– Monitor the process to avoid yellowing, which can occur if pressed for too long.
Tips:
Put 1mm MDF inside the bag on both sides in the groove then x4 layers of white felt in the middle, if you don’t you will have pressure issues when pressing. The felt and the MDF stops the impressions of the folds inside the bags from showing through the back.
