HOW TO
Sublimation Guide:
- Remove any plastic components before starting.
- Wrap your design snugly around the metal base (printing area is approx. 5.7 cm).
- Use the provided shrink film sleeve and apply heat with a heat gun.
- If a pen press isn’t available, place in the oven at 180°C for 3 minutes.
- Carefully remove from the oven (it will be hot!) and peel off the shrink film and design.
- You now have a beautifully sublimated bottom half—time for the fun part!
Snow Globe Assembly Tips:
- Before filling with any liquid (especially oil), seal the top vessel by adding a few drops of super glue around the inner rim. This helps prevent leaks once filled.
- Invert the top vessel and fill with your choice of glitter, sand, or snow globe solution.
- Securely attach the bottom part before flipping it upright to avoid spills.
- The screw-on vessel includes a built-in plug for convenience.
- A separate stopper is provided, but it may interfere with proper reconnection—most users find the built-in plug sufficient.
- Caution: When replacing the pen refill, there’s no need to detach the top vessel. To avoid mishaps, you can glue the vessel to the metal top permanently.
- To write, simply twist the nib at the bottom to reveal the pen tip.
Alternative Decorating Options:
If you’re not sublimating, you can also use UV DTF or ADHESIVE VINLY for a quick and creative finish
Classic Fillers That Move Well in Liquid
1. Fine Glitter or Snowflakes
- White, iridescent, or holographic glitter for that magical swirl
- Synthetic snow or mica flakes for a soft, snowy effect
- Biodegradable glitter if you’re going eco-conscious
2. Shaped Confetti
- Stars, hearts, moons, or seasonal icons (snowmen, pumpkins, flowers)
- Great for themed collections or holiday drops
3. Mini Figurines or Charms
- Tiny resin characters, animals, or branded icons
- Attach to the base or suspend with clear thread for floating effects
4. Glow-in-the-Dark or UV Reactive Elements
- Adds a surprise twist—especially fun for kids or nighttime displays
- Combine with tinted liquid for extra drama
5. Color-Tinted Liquids
- Use glycerin or baby oil with a drop of dye or pigment
- Dual-layer liquids (e.g. oil over water) can create floating illusions
Tips for Filling Snow Globes Successfully
- Liquid Base: Mix distilled water with glycerin or use baby oil for slower movement
- Seal Securely: Use waterproof epoxy or silicone to prevent leaks
- Leave Air Space: A small bubble helps glitter and confetti move freely
- Test Before Scaling: Always shake-test your prototype before batching
