Here is how to use them:

1. Hold the fabric firmly in one hand and the pinking shears in the other hand.
2. Align the edge of the material being used with the blade of the pinking shears.
3. Open and close the pinking shears in a smooth, even motion to cut along the edge of the fabric.
4. Continue cutting along the edge of the material, making sure to keep the shears at a right angle to the fabric for a clean, even cut.
5. Repeat as needed to finish cutting the fabric with the pinking shears.

Note: Pinking shears are best used on woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, and wool. They may not be as effective on stretchy or delicate fabrics like silk or chiffon. Make sure to also clean and oil your pinking shears regularly to keep them sharp and in good working condition.
