Artwork Submission Options

To make the ordering process as smooth as possible, we offer two artwork options:

Option 1: Print-Ready Artwork (Lower Cost)

You create and supply your own artwork using the template we provide after your order has been placed.

To qualify as print-ready, artwork must:

• Be supplied in PDF or PNG format.
• Have a transparent background.
• Be a minimum of 300 DPI.
• Be correctly positioned within our supplied template.
• Meet all artwork requirements provided after ordering.

We will perform an initial artwork check before production.

If the artwork does not meet our print requirements, we will advise you of the issues and give you the opportunity to correct and resubmit the files.

Should the revised artwork still not meet the required specifications, or if further artwork preparation is required from our side, the order will automatically be converted to our Design & Setup Service option and the applicable design fee will become payable before production can proceed.

Option 2: Design & Setup Service (Recommended)

Not confident with artwork setup? Let us handle it for you.

Simply provide:

• Your logo, images, or artwork.
• Any text you would like included.
• Design instructions or examples.

Our team will prepare the artwork, position it correctly within the template, and supply a proof for approval before printing.

This option saves time, eliminates artwork issues, and ensures the best possible printing results. It is particularly recommended for customers using Canva or those unfamiliar with print-ready artwork requirements.

Design Fees

Design work, artwork recreation, background removal, image corrections, layout preparation, and artwork amendments are billed at R450 per hour.

If we prepare the artwork for you, you will receive a proof for approval before printing.

The quoted design fee includes up to three rounds of revisions after the initial proof has been supplied. Any additional changes thereafter will be charged accordingly.

Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best possible print quality, please note the following:

• Maximum print size is approximately 20mm (2cm) in diameter.
• Artwork must be supplied with a transparent background.
• Files must be a minimum of 300 DPI.
• Preferred file formats are PDF or PNG.
• Avoid designs that extend beyond the printable area, as the curve of the golf ball may cause image distortion or bleeding.
• Low-resolution images, screenshots, photographs of logos, or artwork copied from websites may not produce acceptable print results.

Template Requirements

For customers supplying their own artwork:

• We will provide a template that matches our golf ball printing jig.
• Centre your design within the supplied guide circles.
• Once completed, hide the template layer before exporting your file.
• Export the final artwork as a PDF or PNG.
• Do not resize, move, or alter the supplied template, as this may result in incorrect print placement.

Supplying Your Own Golf Balls

You are welcome to provide your own golf balls for printing.

Please note:

• We cannot be held responsible for any imperfections, printing inconsistencies, manufacturing defects, or surface irregularities on customer-supplied golf balls, particularly branded or premium balls.
• We recommend supplying a few extra golf balls to allow for testing and setup.
• Should a customer-supplied ball become unusable during production, we can replace it with one of our standard in-house 2-piece golf balls if required.

Turnaround Time

Please allow approximately 2 to 7 working days for production, depending on the quantity ordered.

Large volume orders may require additional production time.

Once your order has been placed, we will contact you with the artwork requirements and provide the necessary template if you have selected the Print-Ready Artwork option.

Important Notes

• Printing is performed to the artwork supplied or approved by the customer.
• Colours viewed on screen may differ slightly from the final printed result.
• Due to the curved surface of golf balls, certain designs, fine details, and small text may not reproduce exactly as they appear on a flat screen.
• By approving your artwork proof, you accept responsibility for spelling, layout, positioning, and design accuracy.
• Production will only commence once artwork approval and any applicable design fees have been received.
