Candilicious Sublimation Ink ICC Profile

Candilicious Sublimation Ink is designed to be compatible with a range of Epson printer models. These inks come in convenient 100ml bottles, making it easy to refill the printer tanks. The set includes the four primary colours Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow.

The process of filling the printer with Candilicious Sublimation Ink is designed to be straightforward. The bottles are equipped with a cap and tip system (that fit the L11050, L1250, L3110, L3210, and L3250), that simplifies the refilling process, making it as easy as counting “1, 2, 3.” This user-friendly approach is ideal for those new to sublimation printing, as well as seasoned professionals who appreciate efficiency.

An important aspect of achieving the best results with sublimation printing is the use of an ICC profile. ICC profiles are files that help your printer understand how to accurately reproduce colours based on the specific ink and paper being used. They are essential for ensuring that the colors you see on your screen are the colors that get printed on your substrate. For Candilicious Sublimation Ink, the ICC profile can be easily downloaded  by scanning the QR code supplied on the package you received, ensuring that users can quickly set up their printers for optimal printing results.

In summary, Candilicious Sublimation Ink offers a practical solution for those looking to engage in sublimation printing. With its compatibility with popular Epson printer models, easy-to-use bottles, and the availability of individual colors, it caters to a variety of printing needs. The inclusion of an ICC profile ensures that users can achieve accurate and vibrant prints, making Candilicious a solid choice for high-quality sublimation printing.

Installing Your ICC Profile*
To get started, simply. Once downloaded:
  1. Unzip the file
  2. Right-click the profile and select “Install”
  3. This will automatically place it in the correct location on your PC.
  4. After installation, be sure to set up the profile within your design software (any program that supports ICC profiles). If you run into any issues, don’t worry—For assistance with setting up your profile please contact Jessica Piper on 082 757 1391. For a nominal fee, she will set up your profile to ensure the perfect colours!

*Once the ICC profile has been installed, to clarify:

  1. The ICC profile Clicking “Install” on an ICC profile does not open a window or show any confirmation message. It simply places the profile into the correct system folder on your computer. This is normal behaviour and means the installation was successful.
  2. ICC profiles must be used inside design software that supports ICC colour management

An ICC profile cannot function through programs that do not support ICC usage, such as:

  • PDF readers
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Paint
  • Cricut Design Space
  • Silhouette Studio
  • Any software that does not allow ICC profile selection

To print with accurate colour output, you must use design software that supports ICC profiles:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • CorelDraw
  • Affinity Designer

Installing the profile alone will not adjust colours automatically — it must be selected and configured inside your design software.

  1. Technical setup inside design software is not included in the ink purchase

The cost of the ink includes:

  • The ICC profile file
  • Basic installation instructions

It does not include personalised ICC setup or colour‑management support inside your software.

As stated on our store:

For assistance with setting up your profile within your design software, Jessica Piper is available for a nominal fee. She provides full technical support to ensure correct colour output.

  1. Jessica’s fee covers specialised colour‑management setup

Her fee covers:

  • Assessing your exact printer, software, and workflow
  • Setting up your ICC profile correctly inside your design program
  • Ensuring accurate colour reproduction
  • Providing expert guidance for your specific equipment
  • She will even get you to print and press something to see if all is working as it should
  1. Correct setup prevents wasted blanks, wasted time, and frustration

Using the ICC profile correctly is essential for sublimation printing.
Proper setup helps ensure:

  • Colour accuracy
  • Less wasted sublimation blanks (which are costly)
  • Less trial‑and‑error time
  • Reduced frustration

Jessica’s service ensures your system is configured correctly from the beginning.

  1. If you have already filled your printer’s tanks with sublimation ink

It is best to begin printing as soon as possible.
Like all any inks, leaving the printer unused can result in:

  • Nozzle blockages
  • Print head drying
  • Reduced print quality

Getting the ink flowing early prevents these issues and you need to print every day.

If you need help integrating it into your design software and achieving proper colour output, Jessica will be able to assist you directly.

Important Notes
  • Sublimation conversion works best on Epson printers
  • When you receive our set of sublimation inks ONLY full the new printer with these inks and not original inks that come with the new printer.
  • Once the sublimation inks are installed follow the normal charging of inks that is in the instructions given with the Epson printer.
  • This ICC profile needs to be used in a design tool that supports a ICC profile etc, Adobe Illustrator,  CorelDraw, Affinity Designer.
  • Download the ICC profile  by scanning the QR code supplied on the package you received,  once downloaded you will need to unzip the file and right click and install the profile onto your pc, it will install it in the correct area. You will also have to set it up in any of the design tools that support the profile. However if you don't come right there is a contact of a person that can assist you in setting you up for a nominal fee.
  • The profile works best with Windows (sublimation inks designed for a converted printer that requires an ICC profile will not function properly on Apple Mac laptops, as macOS has its own built-in colour management system).
  • The printer must be brand new and must not have been used with standard pigment ink.
  • Flushing out previous inks is extremely difficult and may lead to poor results.
  • Disclaimer The supplier cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the printer.
  • Please note: Using any ink other than the manufacturer-approved ink will void the manufacturer's warranty. In such cases, the printer cannot be returned.
  • Repairs & Maintenance If service is needed, the customer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of repairs or maintenance.
