Here is how it works for laser :
- Design Preparation: First, you need to design or select the image or design you want to transfer. This could be done digitally using software like Photoshop or Canva, or you could use existing images or designs.
- Printing: Print the design onto the waterslide transfer paper using an laser printer , printing on the glossy side of the paper. It’s important to set your printer to resolution=high , and change the paper to glossy also note high speed must be off.
- Cutting: Once the design is printed, carefully cut around the edges of the design to remove any excess paper. Leave a small border around the design to make the transfer process easier.
- Placing of the design : Place design into a warm or room temperature for 45-60seconds and remove when the film starts to loosen from the paper backing. Do not leave the paper “overtime” in the water.
- Preparation of the Surface: Prepare the surface you want to transfer the design onto. This may involve cleaning and drying the surface to ensure it’s free from any dirt, dust, or oils that could interfere with the transfer.
- Application and water : Then apply some water water to your surface and then apply decal by sliding the decal off the paper backing. Work out the air bubbles and the excess water by using a squeegee, paper towel, sponge or a microfiber towel.
- Drying: Allow the transferred design to dry completely For about 10-24hours. Or if the item is oven safe , you can bake it at 105-115 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes but make sure to check them constantly because they can easily burn. You will know that the decals are ready when they have a glossy look!
- NOTE – even when you bake the decorated objects like this we do not recommend putting them in the dishwasher . Hand care only!
