How to Use Gypso Wax with the Provided Sponge
1. Surface Prep
- Make sure your gypsum item is fully dry and free of dust.
- Wipe gently with a microfiber cloth to ensure a clean surface.
2. Wax Setup
- Open your jar of Gypso Wax, designed for smooth coverage and a clean finish.
- Use the included sponge—shaped for easy handling and precise application.
3. Application
- Lightly dip the sponge into the wax.
- Apply a thin, even layer using gentle circular motions across flat areas.
4. Buffing
- Let the wax sit for 3–5 minutes.
- Buff with a clean part of the sponge or a soft cloth to reveal a soft, natural shine.
- Apply a second layer after 30 minutes if needed.
5. Curing Time
- Allow your item to cure for 1–2 hours before handling or packaging.
- Store in a cool, dry area to maintain its finish.
Additional notes : If you’ve used our hardener with Gypsum Eco Resin, it already provides a smooth and waterproof result, so waxing isn’t necessary. However, you may still choose to apply wax depending on your project’s requirements or finish preference
Storage Tip
- Since this is wax, please store in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.
- Exposure to heat may cause it to melt into oil, affecting its performance
